Description
AALTO 2015 comes from Tinto Fino vineyards across several villages of Ribera del Duero, with much of the fruit sourced from vines around 40 to 80 years old. Grapes were harvested by hand in small boxes and carefully selected before vinification.
The wine was aged for an average of 16 months in oak, with approximately half of the barrels new. The 2015 vintage shows a deep purple colour, ripe dark-fruit character and freshness, with well-integrated oak. On the palate it combines structure, intensity and elegance, with notes of liquorice, coffee, tobacco, black fruit and spice. A wine with strong ageing potential.
