Description
Pintia 2012 comes from Tempos Vega Sicilia’s Toro estate, where poor, pebble-rich soils and a warm continental climate give the wine its distinctive intensity and structure.
The 2012 vintage was made from Tinta de Toro, harvested by hand in 12 kg boxes. The wine underwent malolactic fermentation largely in barrel and was matured using both French and American oak. Deep in colour and expressive on the nose, it combines concentrated fruit with subtle oak, a wild mineral edge and a broad, structured yet approachable palate.
